Fighting Corruption in Cambodia: The Demand for an International Standard Anti Corruption Law

In December 2004, the Royal Government of Cambodia made a commitment to passing an international standard Law on Anti Corruption by the end of 2005. This handbook outlines the key features of the two main international anti corruption instruments: the ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). The handbook also lists some of the features that will need to be included in the law if it is to exceed international standards, such as the establishment of an independent Anti Corruption Body.
