Undersea oil and gas off Cambodia’s southern coast continue to drive the buss surrounding the country’s potential   hydrocarbon windfall.

But inland petroleum reserves are beginning to also attract the attentions of prospector, as well as environmentalist concerned over the impact of drilling wells in some of Cambodia’s most sensitive eco-systems.

Anti-corruption activist on Friday presents the National Assembly with evident of widespread

supported in and attempt to pressures lawmakers into taking concreted steps to enact-along awaited law to combat corruption describing themselves as a coalition against corruption they presented a petition to the NA after collecting more than millions thumbprints  and signatures from people in support of their anti-grave drive.

NGO: Gov’t has no will to pass anti-corruption law

The Cambodian Watch dog Council (CWC), a coalition of trade unions and civil society group, yesterday accused the government of having no will to pass the draft anti-corruption law, a day ahead of a planned march to present an anti-corruption petition to the National Assembly (NA).
